Yes, somebody from Latvia is reading. “Baba” sounds like a short from the Russian word “babushka”. Evidently he ha a Russian grandmother whose love for tennis started after seeing Russian players on a visit to Latvia in 1884,

What a beautiful article!It is like we can see just in his life.Changing subject,my friends are laughing out loud while reading more and more articles about Ernests.They said to me one day:”Hey,come here to see another you!But,he is a pro tennis player,and he lives in Latvia.”I laughed with them too,beacuse there are a lot of similarities between me and Ernests.I told them:”Yeah,you can now just tell me that he is Virgo,likes reading,and Paris is his favourite city,and then I will know that you’re just kidding.”And then they show me all that on Internet.I was amazed.
P.S.If somebody from Latvia is reading this,we also say ‘baba’ for grandma,and I also saw a lot of same words.Our language is little like Russian.I’m talking ’bout Serbian,by the way:)
